Inexpensive and relatively quiet!

Purchased this because it had the exact same dimensions as the one I'd be replacing, but is twice as quiet. Had the same fan in guest/kid's bathroom for 20 years and was looking to upgrade to something that was quieter than what we already had. This unit measured almost exactly the same as what I'd be replacing, but was much more quiet than the existing by at least 50%. Installation had to be done from above in attic due to accessibility of wiring and screwing into side of ceiling joist. Other than getting into the attic, install was pretty easy and was even able to close gaps around the unit with expanding foam. Would recommend and buy again.

Quiet, easy to install.

We installed this fan during a remodel of laundry/bathroom.
I'm an absolute beginner at wiring and wired this up in parallel with the lights, operating on 2 different switches.
When we turned on the power, nothing. A test showed that the fan was getting power, but it wasn't working. We feared that we got a faulty fan, but a check inside the switch box showed that the neutral (white wire) had come apart when the tangle of wires had been pushed in. After the wire was reattached and the mess shoved back into the box, the fan works. Nice and quiet, unlike the old 20+ year old one that it was replacing.
