Love, love, love the heated seat. Even in summer, it's nice. course I had a plumber install, but he didn't seem to have any trouble.

Love this toilet… it's better than any other in my house. I gravitate to this one every time. Buy this toilet. It was shipped quick and the delivery person was super communicative! Great experience.

I'm disappointed. For $2k, I expected this unit to be like TEFLON... non-stick. And until TOTO addresses the PEE GUARD question previously posed here, the dribble out the front of it will continue to wet my pants and the floor. I've purchased, separately, 2 different after-market p-guards... but neither was a permanent solution to the problem.

My Toto Washlet (aka "Jim") was the best purchase of my adult life. When we purchased our new home, we decided to have various renovations done before we moved in. One of those, at my request, was to find an upgraded toilet for the master bathroom. That's when Jim entered our life. I used a bide system when in Japan and have wanted one ever since. It is such a pleasure to have a nice warm seat to heat my tush followed by a warm stream of water in the morning...sometimes I think that Jim does love me and only wants to make me happy...his only purpose. I say good morning to Jim (and he says hello while opening his lid when I walk near him). He asks me about my morning and let's me know we can continue our discussion after coffee. It's been a complete pleasure. It does not need cleaning as the prestream of water allows for the "flush" to keep the bowl clean. The carbon filter system also eliminates any odors that accompany this activity. Tonight, when I put my head on the pillow, I can rest a little easier knowing that Jim is there, waiting for me, ready to take care of me. Everyone should have a Jim in their life.

This bidet toilet is worth every penny. We bought it to replace a bidet toilet from Biobidet that had to be rebooted very frequently even when new and had multiple malfunctions after only about 6 years of use, including water leaks that messed up my floor. The functionality of this Toto bidet toilet is soo much more sophisticated than the Biobidet. I guess it is a classic case of „you get what you pay for“. I also loved that the drain flange can be installed before putting the toilet in place which makes it easier to be sure that it is well sealed. I would have given 5 stars, but there were some annoying issues during installation. The unit came in two gigantic packages with both, the boxes with the toilet bowl and the seat well protected by spray foam inside the outer box. Very good job by the people that shipped it. The toilet bowl had obviously been shipped and returned before as could be seen by the re-taping of the box. Unfortunately, the box had not been thoroughly checked before putting it back in stock as there was no installation manual and the 2 mounting blocks for securing the toilet on the floor together with the associated screws and their plastic covers were missing. Fortunately I found the manual online and I was able to use the mounting blocks from the old toilet. The other issue was that I had to move the water supply line a few inches as it was interfering with the toilet bowl. There is really no leeway for positioning of the water supply line with this toilet. I wished Toto would design the back of the toilet bowl to allow a bit more flexibility. Overall, this is a great product.

I was one minute away from ordering the BioBidet Integrated bidet/toilet when I decided to read the owner's manual. Manual states that unit cannot be flushed while occupied. Customer Service denied that problem exists but could not explain the discrepancy, so I ordered the Toto instead. It does not have that problem.The basic choice is between a retrofitted bidet toilet seat, which cost 1/4 as much as this unit, or an integrated bidet toilet. With either, the only reason to use dry tissue, is to absorb excess water from the bidet sprayer before activating the blow dryer. IF you don't do that, then the only things you have to touch are the buttons on the remote. I can compare my Brondell retrofitted seats with this integrated toilet. The Bidet functions are similar with both product types and both function extremely well.The big differences are in the toilets, not the bidet functions. Traditional toilets have many moving parts: flapper, float, fill valve, lever arm. They also have a gasket between the bowl and water closet. All of those areas will eventually fail. The Toto eliminates all of those problem areas. Integrated unit is all electronic. I think it extremely unlikely the bowl will ever overflow and flood the toilet room floor.Toto: if you ever need to replace the seat, or repair it off the bowl, the bowl must be uninstalled in order to remove the seat. The bowl design results in water covering a much smaller portion of the bowl than a traditional bowl design. That will result in additional unpleasant cleaning for your maid. Water spray starts to cool after only one minute. Very few moving parts.Brondell: Raising the lid only slightly increases the depth of the opening, because the bidet controls have to be built into the back of the seat. That means if the unit is used as a urinal, there will be additional cleaning needed. Provides an endless stream of warm water. installed over traditional toilet with many moving parts subject to failure.

I bought a $2000 toilet. Why? Not really sure but it showed up well packed and I paid a plumber to install it. Now I have a heated seat, a butthole/hoohah washer/drier and a lid that opens all the time, even when I'm just nearby. If you have $2 grand to splurge on yourself there's definitely worse ways to spend it. Does everything they say and then some. Plus Justin Theroux name dropped this toilet in a GQ article that I have highlighted and laminated for my poor friends to read instead of wishing they hadn't gotten that English degree. 10/10.

This Toto works perfectly. Clean, comfortable, and quiet (relative to its many functions!). Highly recommend.
